noisy furniture is a furniture system which uses velcro hooks and loops fasteners as the connection between the different pieces.

the system exists of flat and squared-profile pieces of ply-wood, which are covered completely or partly by florescent-green velcro stripes.

the use of the velcro fastener allows endless construction possibilities – from more straight and ‘sober’ compositions to more surprising, chaotic and abstract ones.

since the fastener provides a surprisingly strong connection, the noisy furniture can be used to create many different furniture pieces such as book shelves, closets and clothes-hangers, but also small tables and stools.
